A Love Triangle { Chapter 9}

Michael's eyes widen as he took his arm away from Raquel and quickly got up as he was pacing back and forth as he then said "w-w-why do you think you're pregnant?!"
Raquel sighed as she sniffled and said " because I've been having a lot of mood swings lately, I didn't get the time of the month--"
then Michael cut her off and said "and even if you are pregnant how do you know that I'm the daddy?"
Raquel got up and got into Michael's face as she asked " what are you trying to say?!!"
Michael then scrunched his nose and said " I'm saying that how do I know that this baby would really be Tevin's and not mine?!".
Raquel then said " look me and Tevin haven't slept together since you and I did so it wouldn't be his baby and plus we don't even know that I'm pregnant or not yet!!".
They both became quiet as they were both pacing back in forth in different directions until Michael broke the silence as he said " ok well since our break starts now we can go get a home pregnancy test and maybe even a couple more to just be sure and take the test at my house...."
Raquel, looked puzzled as she exhaled then looked up at Michael and said slowly "ok...".
They got into the car as they drove to a 7-Elven, but noticed there were two other cops that they work with was there as they noticed both their eyes widened as Raquel said "go!, go! before they see us!", but just as Michael was gonna drive away the two cops came out as they greeted them and were smiling as one said "hey Jackson & Johnson!" Raquel, sunk down a little bit in her seat as she said under her breath " oh crap...".
The two cops came up to Michael's side as one of them said " Hey, officer, Johnson how are you?" Michael laughed a little nervously as he said " ah I'm fine officer Dileo, how's the baby?"
Officer, Dileo laughs and says " cute as can be, but is keeping my ass awake!" they all laugh until he said " well you'll know about stuff like that when you'll have your first child..." Michael laughs a little as he says " ah ...yeah". Raquel, frowns a little still thinking about what they need to do.
then the other officer sees Raquel and says " oh how ya doing officer Jackson?"
Raquel, smiles a little as she says " oh I'm fine... how are you doin' officer Murphy?"
Officer, Murphy smiles a little then says " oh well I got divorced..."
Raquel stopped smiling as she said " oh Murphy I'm sorry to hear about that..."
Officer, Murphy laughs and says " nah it's cool girl she wasn't a good cook anyways and she and I had little to none in common...".
Michael, then cleared his throat as he said " well it was nice talking to you we gotta go....", but just before one of the cops was gonna say something Michael drove off as they headed to store that was near Michael's house as they went in and bought two boxes of home pregnancy tests.
As they went inside of Michael's house Raquel began to quickly flash back to the night where her and Michael got a little tipsy from drinking wine as they came over and made love passionately and aggressively up against the wall and in his bed, those memories made Raquel feel awful for not only betraying Tevin, but letting herself be seduced so very easily.
Michael snapped her out of her trance he yelled " Raquel!" Raquel, swiftly turned her head and said " what?"
Michael looked confused as he said " aren't you gonna go in the bathroom and pee on those sticks?"
Raquel nodded as she went into his bathroom upstairs as opened one and peed on the first stick as she waited for the results patiently and nervously as she thought in her head " god, what am I gonna do? I should've never slept with Michael then we wouldn't be in this stupid mess...oh lord if I'm pregnant with another man's child this would kill Tevin! I know I wanted kids, but not like this and I don't have it in my heart to ever abort or get rid of a child...god I wish I knew what to do..." then the timer went off as her pregnancy test results were ready she held the stick her hands as closed her eyes hoping and praying it wouldn't say positive. Then as she opened her eyes her results were....
