Baseless Validation for a Job Left Undone

My thoughts flow freely like countless albums,
uninterrupted, end to end

With my eyes glued to the pad
everything blurs together as time loses meaning

The jumbled mess of words in my head
coalesce into something vaguely intelligible

I feel the need to mold them
into something meaningful and set them free
hide them in plain sight

Some visit, offering a pat on the back on occasion
baseless validation for a job left unfinished

How am I to ever learn
when I can hardly tell when I made a mistake?
