MIXED BERRIES!
There was a time “we” were shackled and shipped over sea in chains clothed with nothing but "our" dark skins.
There was a time the black female and her genitals were displayed in museums for sheer amusement,satisfaction of curiosity,and amazement at the existence of such a beautiful blackberry.
Now we lay together in love,united as one blood!We build homes and make beautiful mixed berry babies with curly hair and robust genes…
No no no!This ain’t hate speech!This is an appreciation to my black skin and my black kin for endurance,perseverance and the courage in our hearts to love indiscriminately.
We have come a long long way,and yes!There are still challenges(Lets not kid ourselves,racism is still very much alive,(on both sides,yes!))
It is more important,however,to understand and accept,that we cannot change the injustices committed to our great great great great…great grandparents hundred and thousands of years ago.But we can choose different!We can choose to love instead of hate!
We can choose to love,respect and live in harmony we those we deem different from us!
With love we can and we are changing the future and future outcomes!
Salute to every self respecting black men and women who doesn't judge or discriminate based on color or someone else skin pigment!
Our differences make us unique,uniqueness makes us diverse,diversity give us something to receive and give in return!That should draw us together not pull us apart!

I echo your sentiments in the spirit of the Paul Macartney/Stevie Wonder song 'Ebony and Ivory'. As to pic, didn't know there were so many varieties of what appear to be 'blackberries'.

As of the pic,i wanted something that will denote the different races in our universe but same time harmonized together...(i thought of black and white berries pic but again,there are other races (though the racism question is mostly blacked and whitened)...)

LadyPN - We could learn a lot from crayons too. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are full. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but each is unique and has to live in the same box, just like mixed berries. Enjoyed your deep words LadyPN. Namyh
