I forgot to comment upon this earlier, this is an abbreviated version from the original, and since there has been some interest in it, I will post the full original, followed by the recently modificated version I ALMOST posted.


Original:

Oh no, it’s the slow.

My eyes are doubled.
My room is in trouble.

I guess I became immortal too soon,
I must have made the wrong thought,
became the reflection I fixed,
filled in with what I first touched.

The world is in statue.
My sight is in diagram.


What didn’t the lesson of these pages teach me?
Did I not trust the creatures enough?


I should have traveled in the dry practises
with the fire lightness of wings,
rather than marvel in the bloat cereal
of these wet pushes.

My body is bubbled.
My joints are in rubble.
