Those lying eyes

You came into my doorway, put your finger on the ringer
I can hear the bell telling me I'll be paying hell
About this time next week
'Cause you don't want to keep any pieces of me
You'll just use what you can and then leave
You think you're fooling me, but I can see
Right through those lying eyes

(Chorus)
You got a lot to say
But you're not saying much
I can read between lines
I can spot a disguise
And I can see right through
Those lying eyes

I'll be the first to admit you make me weak in the knees
When you're working so hard laying on the charm
Gently, with seductively flattery
You're hands take their place
Around my waste, try to bury your face...
...
In the nape of my neck

(Chorus)
You got a lot to say
But you're not saying much
I can read between lines
I can spot a disguise
And I can see right through
Those lying eyes

You see a lonely face so you start pleading your case
You think you win it with a grin and some word play
Now you're making my pulse race
I take the blood as a warning
of my disgrace in the morning
Your teeth are too sharp for sheep
You think you're fooling me, but I can see
Right through those lying eyes

Repeat chorus
