Moment Struck

Early,
By my bed, shy,
Cant stare into the day's eyes,
Maybe the day couldn't stare into my eyes hazy,
Unwillingly, we yawned and stretched,
Wishing the night would elongate,
Extend for hours at-least,
The dawn was much sweeter,
I don't know why sweet moments don't last,
But for the moment,
Seemed forever as we sat thinking,
thinking about nothing but for the moment,
Then,
Our hearts, thoughts and strength were beating for the moment,
That seemed to last forever, moment struck,
Moment love, its always gonna be around,
We looked guilty  yet there was no guilt,
As the sun rays penetrated through the window,
To toast our tired souls,
The sun was Up,
Her eyes were lovely and bright,
Her arms, for the moment were a safe haven.
