Dirty Laundry

Dirty Laundry

Ropes are not meant to write names on breathless throats.

Pills, too, not able to give you purpose as you float.

And you float with smoke.

Your boy really thinks he's dope.

So he throws dirt, but that doesn't make you dirt.

You say you're clean but you're still hurt.

Push me to the edge, spit acid in my veins, do whatever you want.

Try to make me jump, but I won't.

You can abuse me, but don't you ever use me.

I'm not the type of girl who picks her fights carefully.

You have no power over me.

Can't use me, use me, then leave me out.

I'm not yours, never was yours to leave.

Oh, I'm not your dirty laundry.

My scars, you know, are none of your filthy business.

Don't be selfish because you think you're curious.

See, you never notice I call when I'm high or intoxicated.

Hints don't work but you're this town's most hated.

I'm not yours to mend, I'm not even your friend.

Stop trying to make 2012 happen again...

Remember, I was always the lonely wolf.

With places to hide, places to pretend were mine.

I came and I went whenever I pleased.

Can we go back to when I had nothing to lose?

Is that an option? Because I don't see the point anymore

In having people like you. What'd you hold me down for?

Push me to the edge, spit acid in my veins, do whatever you want.

Try to make me jump, but I won't.

You can abuse me, but don't you ever use me.

I'm not the type of girl who picks her fights carefully.

You have no power over me.

Can't use me, use me, then leave me out.

I'm not yours, never was yours to leave.

Oh, I'm not your dirty laundry.
