The Nothing Child

There is a child, who aimlessly roams,
where no child should be allowed...
He peeps into other peoples homes,
and wonders why they laugh aloud.

To him, joy is a mystery,
so he is curious and confused.
Throughout his life's brief history,
he has been neglected and abused.

Forgotten in the clouds of smoke and lust,
drowned in laughter and in screams...
The little one had no one to trust,
as nightmares consumed his dreams.

As he cried, awakening each night,
shivering from intense fear...
He screams for mommy in his plight...
but of course mommy is not here.

As the years passed, he got a little older,
and realized what was going on.
Without any shoulder, his heart grew colder,
and so all of his innocence was gone.

His sorrow grew, but nobody knew,
nor did anyone care to know.
Through black and blue...and crimson hue,
he felt he had nowhere to go.

So his heart was broken beyond repair,
for goodness was in short supply.
He soon was overcome with despair,
and all he wanted was to die.

So he got his wish, and that child died,
as his dreams did long before...
His grave is located, deep down inside...
of my tainted and miserable core.
