Avoiding your gaze
Whenever we do choose to converse
I turn from thine eyes for fear,
Fear to fall deep into your gaze
A void that ne'er fails to keep me.
Your gaze engulfs me in flames
And clutches my very soul, though
Please do not allow me to love
If you alone do not will it.
You know where my heart is
And I fret the force you bring
Shall be my beautiful demise;
Turning from my dream-your eyes.
And onto your eyes I'm tempted to cling

The eyes can say so much. On Saturday, I went to see Ballet Hispanico show called Carmen.....
there was a moment in the show where the female dancer wasn't dancing, but merely looking at the man she once loved.....I could see and feel so much thru her eyes from the audience....that for me was powerful.

Indeed. The eyes alone can tell a story, list your desires and serve as a window into every weakness.
The eyes are a void! And the brightest of stars...
Tis why I fear her eyes, for I know if I look into hers...I may just fall.
