Bittersweet Sonata
Soul is burning,
Twisting, turning,
In my rebelious rage.
I laugh, I cry,
I live and die
Here upon my stage.
So many to choose.
Too much to lose.
The pain won't go away.
Here in your arms
Safe from any harm
I simply want to stay.
Amidst the lies
And bittersweet demise
We scream and cry for more.
Forget the names
And all the games
And go on as before.
Twisting, turning,
In my rebelious rage.
I laugh, I cry,
I live and die
Here upon my stage.
So many to choose.
Too much to lose.
The pain won't go away.
Here in your arms
Safe from any harm
I simply want to stay.
Amidst the lies
And bittersweet demise
We scream and cry for more.
Forget the names
And all the games
And go on as before.
