How easy does a child fall in love?
Follow the leader, chase each other around the shelves.
How easy does a child fall in love?
Laughter and nonsense conversations, such innocent moments.
How easy does a child fall in love?
A day in the library, sitting among the books.
How easy does a child fall in love?
Teaching. Watching. Learning. Talking.
Complete strangers, best friends for only a few minutes.
Childhood logic.
Childhood innocence.
Childhood friendship.
Childhood love.
Sweet and innocent.
Chasing each other in the library.
Among the books & between the shelves.
And I can’t help but wonder:
How easy does a child fall in love?

Page_Writer - I think children fall in love a lot easier than we adults. They just haven't had enough time to accumulate all the negative baggage we carry or even see through our mature eyes and that sometimes is indeed our lost. I most enjoyed your work here Page_Writer and the question it asks. You got me thinking on yonder days gone by. Thanks. Namyh

You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was inspired by my almost two year old son playing with a four year girl at the library recently. The experience was so sweet and magical for me, being a new mother and seeing my son socialize even when he can barely talk. It touched my heart and it made me ponder the question about children falling in love. I suffer from social phobia and have always been shy growing up, so watching my son adjust to being around another child so quickly. It made me feel so proud and I just, I had to capture the moment in words.
