Masked Individuals

It's such a hard feeling to explain
Constantly living life in fear and pain
Living as a spectator to my own life
Wondering when my good luck will strike
How do you explain being a separate person from yourself
That is an experience that no one can help
I view the world far more distant than any of you
Then I proceed to interpret my views
I accept the reality
That we all live so ignorantly
Covering our very own eyes
And building our entire foundation of life on lies
Yet we fail to acknowledge that pure and simple statement
That a masked individual has become our replacement...
