Teenage Hormones

Sunday evening with a
dash of disappointed dreams

Teenagers huffing from
old canteens

Father sleeping on the couch

Mother gets dressed and
flaunts about

Another douche with an
acoustic guitar

Trying to make a living
selling fancy scars

Performers dancing in
the street

About to get run over if
they don't dress discrete

Bells jingling in the wind

Mind getting hazy from the wine
and broken child within

An immature replica of who I am

A boy kissing everyone that
walks in

Wants to be a doctor but instead
he's snorting pills

Making every bump look uphill

A leopard with a golden bell

Drums beating with a new rebel

Night is approaching

And the boys start poaching

Lifting skirts and screaming no

This life of teenage hormones
