Thank you, my friend
Who has been there for me
Even when I made it difficult.
Who has stuck by me
Even as I was pushing you away.
Who saw through my bullshit
And knew how much I was hurting.
Who never gave up on me
Even when I tried to myself.
Thank you, my friend
For I would not be here
Without you in my life.
Because I would have given up
When things things felt bleakest.
You kept believing in me when
I could not believe in myself.
And you always listen to my problems
Even when you don't know what to say.
So thank you, my friend.
Who has been there for me
