I Thought Knowledge Would Make Me Happy
I wish that I could close my eyes
go back to blindly believing lies
What I wouldn’t give to be a child again
to have faith and trust in other men
Alas my eyes may squint or blink
but they won’t stay closed, I am forced to think
Cursed to know what my neighbors supress
I’m surrounded by fools and loneliness
go back to blindly believing lies
What I wouldn’t give to be a child again
to have faith and trust in other men
Alas my eyes may squint or blink
but they won’t stay closed, I am forced to think
Cursed to know what my neighbors supress
I’m surrounded by fools and loneliness
