Stone Cold

Girl this silence that you putting on is ringing in my ears,
And these emotions I'm hiding in is bringing out the tears,
And its tearing me apart,
I was sailing in the tides of your endless flowing love, you waited till the storms of temptation hit us then you tore down my sail of trust and left a hole in my heart with a piece of broken promise.
I never saw it coming, I was blind to the facts.

Here I am now taking my remedy - Heaven hill Whiskey mixed with tear drops,
hoping the alcohol will drown all the pain I take more shots, shots to kill cherished memories of you.

Memories of how we used to make love till the sheets get loose and slide off the bed,
And in the end we will pillow talk,  talk about our flaws, talk about the future, talk about so many things till we talk about the pillow.
Then you'll fall asleep with my arms covering you with all the love the universe can ever give in that perfect cuddle.

Memories of me waking up in the morning to the aroma of fresh breakfast, a plate full of love, trust, respect and more love,
And how you used to adjust my ties and how I used to lift the zip up your dress.

But those days are gone,
you took my book of life and ripped out all the pages about love and happiness.
You did break my he-a-rt, just like u did to all your promises,
Then you swept the tiny pieces and dumped them in the trash.

I guess every love story have an end, and ours... Well it ended Stone Cold
