"Death now no longer has a Sting."
Eccliastes 12,
1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth,
while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh,
when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be
not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:
3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble,
and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the
grinders cease
5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and
fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall
flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and
desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home,
and the mourners go about the streets:
6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be
broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the
wheel broken at the cistern.
7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the
spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.
Oh God, when we are filled with our own strength, then in
this do we put our trust; never taking to heart that one day
we'll all return unto the place from where we've come
So, teach us to take into mind, that the days we are given
are limited, so that we'll offer our sacrifices unto the one
from whom, we've been given this brief life
Let us think soberly and our actions cause to behave,
before the one whom we'll meet when we step into the
earthen grave
But finality, let us not have a pride-filled soul, considering
this to be; but be mindful that like the caterpillar who enters
into the cocoon and emerges a beautiful butterfly, this to us
is only a sleep...
A brief cessation of our time, before eternity
"Death, now no longer do you influence panicked thoughts
of dread, because Christ died but behold, He has Risen and
become the First fruits of us all who will have slept;
No longer are you terrifying when thought of, but, just cause
for joy, knowing that through your passage, we are all one
step closer unto God, from whom, we've all come:"
"I've entered into His Presence and the Heavens are opened
up; and, that which once was ominous and a mystery, is now
merely a bridge into Gods Eternal Heavenly Home,"
