Always Relating to the Unknown
Have you ever looked up into the sky?
Looked up and been stunned by the greatness a-wide?
Isn't it humorous that we claim to know?
Claim to understand what lies beyond the ozone?
The stars afar and the planets within.
Still we claim to be the universe's sole being.
I remember the ignorance I once had...
I remember believing my dependency wasn't that bad.
Habits were growing from within myself.
The arrogance arose, I'm not everyone else!
Questions about if the Heavens are real.
Asking ourselves if we believe the spiel.
Were we created by the one Omniscient?
Is there really the God, the One's presence?
Split amongst men we'll all argue.
Debating what's a lie and what's true.
I can recall questioning was my Father alive...
I can recall days before the opening of my eyes.
As I stare into the mysterious night,
I begin to see all our frivolous might.
As the stars immensely stare back at me,
I notice all our flawed expertise.
As I start to understand it all,
I see man's erroneous cognition.
Just like the flowers outside my home...
I find myself relating to the unknown.
Looked up and been stunned by the greatness a-wide?
