Restoration

I am not typically a happy person,
but when I talk to you I feel like I am.
You open up parts of my heart I felt were sealed shut,
old diamond mine passages that had collapsed in earthquakes.

With you, I feel as if the rubble is cleared away
and I am once more able to go explore for those treasures.
I am nervous as I walk these corridors though.
I have been crushed before.
