The blue scatters
and the white reigns supreme
shadowing the ground
with imaginary animals
and mythical creatures
that morph and dissipate
into little wisps of nothingness
Is it the sky
that makes the ocean blue?
As the mother moon
fingers her emotions
like a discordant violin
through our psyches
There’s the ebb and flow
come and go
seasons of here and there
and a suffering that never really ends
Today I am hated
against the atmospheric silhouette
no heavenly bodies
to catch my un-angelic fall
from sinner to sin and back again
The blue scatters
and the white blankets my footsteps
shadowing the ground
with the footprints of giants
and I remember I am small
