(the land, it is a good one)
The trees, the sky, the mountains
the roads to get lost on
(and then to find your way again)

my home state of Colorado, when I was trapped in VA...

There's a warming peace to this poem with nothing to hide. I think you could simply call the poem Colorado and let the first line stand on it's own. I like your work. Welcome to DU.

thanks much, i think that this one was originally "untitled" and for those i just used the first line as a title.
