Drowning in Hell

In the pool of sorrow you wallow and drown.
Though so warm when they flowed from your eyes,
Waves of tears now wash your crown.
But to taste them now- salty lies-
Of loss, rage and love never found.
With seconds left until the coldest death,
Lungs filled with your every wretched breath.
With all the trials for which you wept.
It's so dark in your heart that you can't see.
And the burden of your hate keeps you submerged.
But isn't it worth it for pain that sweet?
All that pain you tried to purge?
Part your lips, just for a taste.
It wants to comfort you, it caresses your face.
Part your lips, cry for help.
It's too late when you're drowning in hell.
