Swastika
A symbol dating beyond 10,000 years ago. A glyph long sacred. With origins that remain untold.
Long predating the age of old. Used in Asia and Europe as a symbol to behold.
Until a dark cloud shrouded the message. Tilting it 45 degrees. They make it their own. To give there Reich Credence.
As if Fate itself had bestowed. An Unholy edict against their chosen foes. Further perverting the meaning of what the symbol holds.
25 yrs of misuse, should not undermine it's legacy. Nor should it stop parents from educating their own. Because people today are to Fucking stupid to know.
That history does not begin with this century. It Foreshadows the Age of Stone.

Don't feel bad about not knowing. Because those who should, don't bother to teach. In Germany they don't teach World War 2. For obvious reasons.

I guess i should have been clearer. They don't teach the Holocaust. And if they do now, there was a time when they didn't.
But when I get a new piece of information, I do the only thing I can logically. I learn from it.

No...you are wrong about the German people not being taught about the holocaust...you don't say where your information has come from...
My information is from my daughter's partner who is German...as he puts it 'we are taught extensively about WW2 and the Holocaust because the government believes it would be negligent for it not to be taught, and that no German should ever forget what happened.'
Having visited one of the concentration camps in Germany earlier this year...it is very much on display...
When you say they weren't taught about it...maybe that was in the decade after the event...I imagine Germany, let alone the whole world was reeling about the extent of genocide committed and trying to come to grips with it....

As i said in one of my last comments. If they do now, there was a time when they didn't. I got my Info. From someone who was in the system just after the War and she was not taught it in school.
The German Government did not apologize for the Holocaust Until April of 1990. It took the Government close to 5 Decades to admit culpability. But they have been paying for the Events of that War since it ended.
