Heaven's Light
The skies which were once dark filled with color
The sun rose slowly as my heart let some light in
I tried to stay away from the daylight as I feared it
I felt as if I was lost in midst of paradise
I could feel the warmth of the sunrays in your mind
As I saw the world through your eyes
Only the light can bring happiness to this world
Only I am left in this heavenly, peaceful world
I was once regretful when I had to free it all
But now I can break free and rest peacefully
I wished that I could be in the darkness
But when the light shone and shed shadows on you,
I felt there was no longer need to be afraid
Only the light can bring happiness to this world
Only I am left in this heavenly, peaceful world
I was once regretful when I had to free it all
But now I can break free and rest peacefully
If shadows are cast and rain falls gently,
Then I’ll believe this day is a faded memory
This day only lasts as a fragment in time
But my sadness fades as time dies away
