Friendly Enemy
we were friends once now we strangers
the only common ground we have is a bread and butter
you wanted the cheddar more than you wanted the weather
I was down to do whatever but now I got clever
and you still have feelings for fame and fortune
animosity turned you into
an enemy
but you
were never alone
but I forever remain on life's merry go round
until they take me out
or God put me down
the only common ground we have is a bread and butter
you wanted the cheddar more than you wanted the weather
I was down to do whatever but now I got clever
and you still have feelings for fame and fortune
animosity turned you into
an enemy
but you
were never alone
but I forever remain on life's merry go round
until they take me out
or God put me down
