A Drop of Me
A drop of me is there in you
When the corner of your eye
Has a bead inclined
With regret, anger, grief or delight
A drop of me is there in you
When the centre of your eye
Looks straight into mine
With love, doubt, hope or prying
A drop of me will burn you
When the heart of your eye
Will look inside
With shame, disgust, guilt or chide.

Very well written. A teardrop is so informative of the person. Your saying "drop of me" expresses that. The flow of your poem very soft like the sound of piano keys in a pretty song (I could actually imagine those sounds as I read). It's aesthetic in its observation because so much the human experience is contained within each drop. It is our essence. Very lovely "A Drop of Me".
