Like Snowy Drifts on a Summer Day
Laughs that fade away
Like snowy drifts on a summer day
Eyes that shine I see no more
Where is the feeling I long so deeply for?
A butterfly with a poison touch
Life taking yet I love so much
Gently flowing, violent bite
Comsuming with a vengefull spite
A malicious leech on my soul
Entered my heart and formed a hole
Without it now I am lost
With it I pay a dear cost
Now Im clouded, tainted, burned
It just left. Without being warned
Replaced by a ball of confusion
Set my mind into institution
Now that frown fuels my cancer
Seeking word, hear no answer
A wall divides us, worlds apart
Pulling the strings of the heart
It bends the universe, destroys stars
Runs like a cold blade, unforgotton scars
Conquers every thought, submits the heart
Is there a way around it, where do I start?
I miss it with every breath I take
Understanding its gone leaves me in a quake
But Im always returning for another chance
And I come back for one more glance
Laughs will fade away
Like snowy drifts on a summer day
Eyes that shine I see no more
What happened to that feeling I long for?
Like snowy drifts on a summer day
Eyes that shine I see no more
Where is the feeling I long so deeply for?
A butterfly with a poison touch
Life taking yet I love so much
Gently flowing, violent bite
Comsuming with a vengefull spite
A malicious leech on my soul
Entered my heart and formed a hole
Without it now I am lost
With it I pay a dear cost
Now Im clouded, tainted, burned
It just left. Without being warned
Replaced by a ball of confusion
Set my mind into institution
Now that frown fuels my cancer
Seeking word, hear no answer
A wall divides us, worlds apart
Pulling the strings of the heart
It bends the universe, destroys stars
Runs like a cold blade, unforgotton scars
Conquers every thought, submits the heart
Is there a way around it, where do I start?
I miss it with every breath I take
Understanding its gone leaves me in a quake
But Im always returning for another chance
And I come back for one more glance
