realization
"I stopped thinking of you
when I knew you thought nothing of me
I hated that realization
but time heals wounds
and it took a long time
for me to heal after you,
and i don’t think i healed right,
i don’t think i ever will
my heart will always be
just as i am, healed
but still hurting
i won’t ever really know
did i make the right choice?
maybe, but the healing process
is not over and i don’t think it ever will be
for now i will make my art and paint over my
wounds and scars
make my self happy of the time being”
