Sharing transnational traditions

Sharing transnational traditions

When you eat mămăligă

I must understand polenta
While I thought polenta was a romanian word

When I eat some cuisses de grenouille
You are horrified by our wild tradition
Though most frogs come from Romania"?

When I wear an élégante cravate
You are proud of me, saying "Care barbat superb!"
Even though I wear a tie, only one or two times a year

When you wear o frumoasa rochie albă
I am in love with you, just able to say "mon amour!"
You are forever so beautiful to me

When you saw me for the first time
I am sure you asked : "care este acest tip?"
It was two years ago and you love me now

When I saw you for the first time
I already knew : "c'est elle"
And I knew it was the truth because "c'est l'amour!"

"dragoste, pentru totdeauna!"
    "l'amour, pour toujours!"
             "love, forever!"

Obviously English, Romanian and French languages, in comp "international flavors"
