"I'm Happy"

It's hard to explain.  
But it is a joyful feeling
To get a text from someone you love
Just to let you know that they are happy.  
 
Life can be cruel,
Hurtful,
Surprising at times.  
But these little moments are what we'll remember.  
 
So few things last forever.  
We must cling to memories that make us smile,
Feel loved.  
Where an instant can last a lifetime.
