Reverie

When we dream
We're living
When we're living
We're waiting
To dream again.

Perhaps a pariah
But not marred
Only helixed.

Consent seems to never come
I am told to amend
But I will wait
I will wait to dream again
So that I can live
Instead of dreaming to do so.

The horizon will walk
And she will greet me
But now, patience
For tomorrow is only one dream away.
