Reverie
When we dream
We're living
When we're living
We're waiting
To dream again.
Perhaps a pariah
But not marred
Only helixed.
Consent seems to never come
I am told to amend
But I will wait
I will wait to dream again
So that I can live
Instead of dreaming to do so.
The horizon will walk
And she will greet me
But now, patience
For tomorrow is only one dream away.
We're living
When we're living
We're waiting
To dream again.
Perhaps a pariah
But not marred
Only helixed.
Consent seems to never come
I am told to amend
But I will wait
I will wait to dream again
So that I can live
Instead of dreaming to do so.
The horizon will walk
And she will greet me
But now, patience
For tomorrow is only one dream away.
