She built a beautiful garden in her heart
An oasis in her soul
Guarded by the gate that no one ever got in
They searched for the key
The key that didn't exist
It was always open
A man pushed it open and walked in
He wouldn't be stopped
He saw the beauty that laid inside

I really like what you did with this poem -- the sort of twist to it -- in most cases people talk of needing a key to get inside the garden of beauty of the beloved but in this case he was the only one who realized that the gate was open all along and no key was needed for the one who was meant to find his way inside.... Very impressed with this one!!! ♡♡♡ :)
