A World Cut Off / Silver Songbird
A World Cut Off
Long has it been, since I beheld different colors of the breeze,
Its been so long, since we seen the touch of sunlight upon the skin, or tasted bread
So many fantastic colors, so many fantastic shades, the feeling of this wonderland
Until the time of designated arrivals, must I fade into colored spectrals of black and grey
In the blink of an eye, its ocean green, now a Dark Blue mountain breeze
Sleeping angels, come into view, a world cut off, there is work to do, an begin again
~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Silver Songbird
Silver song bird, come,,, and play for me,
Welcome me home to another day, the night is done,
Sing me hymns when the world was young in my eyes
And on the road, when shall we find out, what’s beyond the frost and thunder
I sit in front of the Westerning sun, and springs that always think of you
Spirits, tranquil cosmic veins, fill my blood with love and truth
come the day time, through night skies, make it so wind of my soul
Silver songbird, come and play for me, the love of your songs a world of new creation
Lift tired eyes and weary mind, come sing to me, show you care
And cast our shadows rippling across splintered shores
Long has it been, since I beheld different colors of the breeze,
Its been so long, since we seen the touch of sunlight upon the skin, or tasted bread
So many fantastic colors, so many fantastic shades, the feeling of this wonderland
Until the time of designated arrivals, must I fade into colored spectrals of black and grey
