Filling the Void

All my life I've searched for truth,
Always I have yearned for proof,
But all I felt was the eternal dark,
Never once heard the angels hark,
Eden's fruit never mine to taste,
To my end I felt so much haste,
Couldn't fill the void that captured my soul,
Couldn't shake the evil that took all control,
So many times I tried and failed,
All I wanted was for my mind to prevail,
If only once I could feel the light,
All I had ever known was the impressing night,
Drifting off in an eternal sleep,
My soul was Satan's, my body to keep,
Dark magic and shadows I held,
the power of night I have wield,
Then that night I felt the love,
I felt the power from above,
Now I that I am saved,
And I need not fear the grave,
