Broken
Retreating again to this dark lonely place,
Desperate and broken she hides her face.
Trapped in a cage of guilt and shame,
Past mistakes and unending blame.
Lies...leading to shattered trust,
Protect by walls with an ice covered frost.
A fiery HELL of long buried pains,
Numbed with only a poison about into the veins.
Tears falling again,
Will this self-destruction ever cease to begin?
Silently screaming...
Engulfed by her demons of fate,
Ashamed and wondering if this time she's too late.
