Eternal Rest
I picked you up that Friday night,
Your skin so soft and pale,
Dressed to kill in Gothic black,
With those gloss black painted nails...
In the darkness came the final ride,
It was just a twist of fate,
I could hear the Spirits chanting,
That with me they had a future date...
I remember hearing the metal grind,
And the windows as they broke,
But now the Gothic Sprits,
Were calling me back home....
I remember how the sirens wailed,
And the pain that shocked my chest,
It wasn't long before the end,
As they pronounced the time of death...
I remember when they pulled the sheet,
Far up over my lifeless head,
I could hear my mother screaming,
When they told her I was dead...
You stood there tears ran down your face,
Your nails tried to wipe them dry,
You were crying so hysterically,
And wanting to know why...
It seemed like an eternity,
And it was getting very cold,
I could hear the cries outside the fridge,
Where the dead were placed on hold...
A few days passed and in a box I was placed,
And they gently closed the lid,
It smelled a little musty like,
As underground the box was slid...
It wasn't long before they came,
The Ferries from the trees,
And pulled me underneath the earth,
With all of those who bleed...
The mist was cold and fog ran deep
Inside these Spirit walls,
I could hear the cries of frightened souls,
And could feel them when they finally fall...
I died in vain all because of you,
Your kiss the final caress,
Forever know that you're the one,
Whose lust took me to eternal rest...
