night shade
teach me how to die teach me not to cry
death kissed my lips today, I didn't turn away..
I waited to slip into the light, ready to end the fight..
like a young woman bleeding into the cloth of sin
fighting the monster within
running around the catacombs in the darkest hours
I lay you down by grave flowers
carving my name into your cheek, kisses are wiped away but this will always be
forget me nots, he loves me, he loves me nots
my wings melt before I reach the sun
a downward spiral I fall into an ocean of blood
darkness as still as my emotions I feel
forever lingering in oblivion
love grows strange with me
death kissed my lips today, I didn't turn away..
