A Moons Parting

A Moons Parting
As she pulls away gently
taking pieces of me, evolving resolve
like little tin foil presents wrapped
in faded red crushed velvet bows

A child forgiven, a man redeemed
I have made my own wellness
out of love and an early morning smile
I walk into a brand new life

Those that choose death and dying
do not choose to live- you’re pain is valid
learning from it, more so.
I’m not here to take from you…

Only to give a better life, and she cleansed me.
