No Joke:
**Knock** **Knock**
I Turn out the lights
I Don't say a word
**Knock** **Knock**
Shush! Silence I pray!
A question is broached from outside the door
Why don't you answer
We know you can hear
Come out from the dark
We know you're in there
Frozen in fear, I shrink from within
A statement is blared as the door comes ajar
Come out, come out
Wherever you are
We've huffed and we've puffed
We've blown down your door!
You owe us, you owe us
We MUST have some more
Your soul's not enough
We're taking your HIDE!
Deep in a corner;
I lie quiet and still
If I stay dormant,
will they leave me for dead?
Or munch my corpse, still breathing and warm
Portion my meat and pick at my bones
In ravenous lust, know not what they've done
Yet their deed will be just
as they sit on their thrones
Eulogy of grunts
Memorial of moans
Buried away with a wipe and a flush
Happily purged and hungry for more
Off they will go to knock the next door
I Turn out the lights
I Don't say a word
**Knock** **Knock**
Shush! Silence I pray!
A question is broached from outside the door
Why don't you answer
We know you can hear
Come out from the dark
We know you're in there
Frozen in fear, I shrink from within
