Restraining To Make Right

Not cruising the bar to make a mark, not following them

to the connect, nor them to the distributor. It takes

every inch of my worth to not take from them, to end

their game and make off with my reward for doing away

with those that could care less about anyone and make

my way to you. Someone worth caring for, and I do.

That is why I am restraining to make right. Because love

isn’t about doing stupid shit to simply be there and hold

your hand while you bravely suffer. No, you’re showing

me why it’s about being there by being here now, without

selfish, fearful want and be the man you believe in, and

take it. Take the fear, take the hurt, take the suffering…

and turn it into you and I laying in a Florentine field of

lavender and we, without remorse, without mistake.

With the good choices and best of our patience.
