The Connection

He makes me feel sexy like Monroe
but says that I'm classy like Hepburn.
Tells me I move like Grace Kelly
even when I'm being clumsy.

Opened my eyes back in the bedroom,
he tied me up and I was set free.
With his hands up against my neck
you could say that I caught a thief.

We don't ask and we don't tell,
do what we want cause what the hell.
Young and pretty in the city,
dirty minds and dirty dresses
dark corners, shady confessions.
Two people from different directions
coming together, the connection.

He's a charmer with his tattoos
He gives me symptoms like weak knees
and he prescribes things like late nights
until I'm a junkie, I'm in need.

I think I'm right where he wants me
but he's right where I want him.
I think they call it bedroom chemistry
but I grew up calling it sin.

We don't ask and we don't tell,
do what we want cause what the hell.
Young and pretty in the city
dirty minds and dirty dresses
dark corners, shady confessions
Two people from different directions
coming together, the connection.

Opened my eyes back in the bedroom
he tied me up and I was set free.
With his hands up against my neck
you could say that I caught a thief.

We don't ask and we don't tell,
do what we want cause what the hell.
Young and pretty in the city
dirty minds and dirty dresses
dark corners, shady confessions
Two people from different directions
coming together, the connection.
