Angels to Ashes
You're an angel,
I'm a monster,
But I love you anyway.
So come down from heaven,
I'll come out of Hell,
And we'll meet halfway.
You supply angelic intimacy,
I'll bring the sinful passion,
And our two halves can make a whole.
We may burn for eternity,
But at least we'll burn together,
So let love take its toll.
We're playing with love,
Playing with matches,
We're from dust to dust,
From angels to ashes.

I totally pictured this in my mind as I read it. A beautiful angel and a hideous demon entwined by love...great poem my friend! :)
