NEVER ESCAPE

Drifting, Staring, flying away.
Having no control.
I was told to keep it a secret,
To not tell a soul.

He told me i was worthless,
He would hurt me without a fight.
and i'm sad to say after all that pain,
For once he was right.

He let me go and as i left,
He told me he would always watch.
I was well aware and stayed quiet,
Until i forgot.

I told the police I told my friend,
And I remembered what not to say.
And I saw him smiling outside my window,
Right that very day.

He took me again and beat me up.
Black eye and all.
I was to go back in town and stay quiet,
And say I had a nasty fall.

I was terrified after that,
and my parents knew straight away.
They had figured out again,
And he's outside my window everyday.
