Lala land
Open your eyes and come with me
To a place with dancing and singing trees
A lion flies, a butterfly roars
A catfish meows, and a lion snores.
So don't close your eyes it's not a dream
Its A place where the laughter flows
And Everybody glows
The clowns make toys.. Not scare young boys
We will party and have some fun
Just don't swallow your bubblegum
But if you do that's ok too
In this place you can't make a mistake
So what you do is up to you
Just have fun and watch that pretty sun..

I really enjoyed this poem and it's colors. if you would have given it a mysterious name like "Labyrinth" or something along those lines you would have captured my imagination completly

....coming from you. Quite refreshing and optimistic in this apocalyptic world. Depicts a youthful fantasy-like hopeful, unjaded flow. Speaks of a desire to return to a better day. Sounds almost utopic and yes compared to some of the "other" subject matter found at DU, this is refreshing. Sounds like you went to Narnia for a bit, hopped a transcontinental to Africa to chat with Simbs, Nala, and Mufasah-all you needed to do was take an expedition with Happy feet to complete the trek. LOL This read evokes a longing and deep desire to return to happiness to me. I really like it.
