Your pale and fragile flower
I lay upon the rain soaked pavement , like a fragile flower which had been picked by a child and carelessly tossed to the side,
The rain washed over my body , my face now a pale and lifeless image,
My once tender petals are now left to shrivel and rot , as you neglected me,
I shall forever be a lost soul ,
This morning you held me in your strong arms , my body giving into pleasure as your warmth and love consumed me,
Our lips met for the last time and i could still remember the first, that was the night i made you the star in my universe,
Your warm breath brushed my ear, a cold air replacing your words , turning them to ice,
You had given me no warning and so my heart was left to tear itself apart , the pain coursing through my body , a body which was now stone,
I ran through the still streets , daily life now paused , rain pelting down like cupids arrows of love , the arrows now consumed by fire , aiming for my now loveless heart until i fell to the ground,
And that's where I shall stay,
The colour draining from your pale and fragile flower , my summer burned to ash and replaced by the sinister winter air
