THE CHAMBERMAID
He picked up the fair chambermaid,
Who got, in his bedchamber, laid.
At first of him she was afraid,
This man both of flash and of shade,
Sporting a jacket with gold braid,
Who upon the weaker sex preyed,
From whom wise maidens would have stayed.
But drink stronger than lemonade
Soon made her easy to persuade,
(She thought the bedroom walls had swayed)
As to her boastful claims he made
As heir to a fortune from trade.
His words “Come with me”, she obeyed.
Her hair came down in a cascade.
She stripped, till her all was displayed;
Then on her fleshly parts he played.
He stripped when ready to invade,
Put his excitement on parade.
To his advances her legs splayed.
A rampant act of love was made,
Far from the maiden path she strayed
Within the arms of the young blade,
Whose seed within her walls he sprayed.
He left her with a shilling paid,
Promises made in bed betrayed,
And reputation in degrade.
Who got, in his bedchamber, laid.
At first of him she was afraid,
This man both of flash and of shade,
Sporting a jacket with gold braid,
Who upon the weaker sex preyed,
From whom wise maidens would have stayed.
