Mother Mother

Bitch bitch bitch
That's all I hear.
That's all that comes out of her
mouth every time she talks.
Every vowel formed from it
irks every nerve in my body.
Every sound she makes is another
request,
Which really isn't a request.
It's a demand.
A demand that expects you to be
perfect.
But,
You'll never be perfect.
Every word that is spoken is a dagger
piercing through an already broken
heart wanting to be healed.
Every word is a reminder that
nothing you do will ever be good
enough.

Every
Damn
Word
Is what drives me to be something...
Something better
Better than what she thinks I could
ever be
Which is nothing
Because she is nothing.
All she has to call her own
is a demonic daughter that she
reluctantly calls hers
Stuck in hell for all the wrongs she's done/
She is simply a tiny little simple speckle
on the face of the planet proving me
that everyone is the same.
You can't sit and expect the world
handed to you on a silver platter.
You have to fend for yourself
YOU have to be the person that
proves everyone wrong.
