Mirrors
Hello
mirror
hello
me
I can see you
can you see me
you are
me
I'm you
to be
let's break this mirror and head out free
I am your talent
the one lamenting
and you are me
back when I was living
back then you would play for hours in the park
before me now
before the dark
and as you stand before the dark
you feel yourself floating and moaning and drifting
there is no lifeboat
no Noah's ark
so here you are now
simply drowning
drowning in hate self inflicted raw pain
living a life
with nothing the gain
you look at the talentless boneheaded old apes
pointing at you
and calling you lame
you're fourteen years old with not a thing to live for
you feel this realization
deep down in your core
you just go back
back to your bed
and see the digital page
JUST BEGGING FOR MORE.
