Mystical Beings
There is so much magic
Around us confounding are senses
Making us wonder at the world
Where we come from
Each person unique
Mystical beings I see in my minds eye
Taking me to vistas
Not seen by the human mind
Giving me wings
Where my soul flys high
Out of my body
High into the night sky
I've seen the universe
In all it's glory
Been told fantastic stories
I ponder it all
The fallen angels walk among us
Affecting the Earth
Mystical beings with powers
Of persuasion
Demons running a muck
Causing devistation
I wonder of the true nature
Of our maker
Sending tornados and floods
Earthquakes and all the blood
That flows
I think he may be the same being
above and below
Lucifer being his first son
I really think
We're just entertainment
That the creator is having fun
This is just my opinion
Though i've heard God and Lucifer
Conversing
They don't speak as enemies
So casually discussing the fate
Of this one and the other
I really believe
They spar but
Have love for each other
One way or another
I count him
My brother.

I'm not really religious, but this poem still seemed to fascinate me; the idea of it all.
Two opposing forces that have absolute power over all of us, as humans.
You mentioned demons; but are the angels implied?
