Alone
She stands alone, in a cold dark world.
Her deepest fears she lives everyday
with no one to hold her and take the pain away
She fight the demons that claw at her insides
But outwardly she says every things alright
She hides behind a smile
That doesn't quiet reach her eyes.
When she gets home she doesn't even bother
to turn on the lights.
She forgets to eat, and loses track of time
Forgetting she even has a life line.
She lives afraid to turn on the lights
Knowing she will see a monster hiding inside
Being alone can bring the worst out in the best people
But its a silent killer
You don't realize its killing you till its over
Her deepest fears she lives everyday
with no one to hold her and take the pain away
She fight the demons that claw at her insides
But outwardly she says every things alright
She hides behind a smile
That doesn't quiet reach her eyes.
When she gets home she doesn't even bother
to turn on the lights.
She forgets to eat, and loses track of time
Forgetting she even has a life line.
She lives afraid to turn on the lights
Knowing she will see a monster hiding inside
Being alone can bring the worst out in the best people
But its a silent killer
You don't realize its killing you till its over
